Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in Hershey, PA is seeking a Resident Assistant/Personal Care Aide to provide quality care and assist residents with activities of daily living, dining and mobility. You will respond to calls promptly, maintain confidentiality, and support a safe, respectful living environment.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, completion of an approved personal care aide program, strong verbal and written communication, ability to lift 50 lbs, CPR/First Aid certification

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have completed approved personal care aide program per state regulations.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Must be organized and able to work with all levels of staff.
• CPR/First Aid certified, or willing to become within 60 days of hire.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs, and push or carry 25 lbs.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Perform housekeeping duties in resident areas.
• Respond promptly to calls and emergencies.
• Assist in planning and conducting activity programs.
• Assist residents with move-in transition and provide emotional support.
• Follow confidentiality policies regarding resident information.
• Communicate resident status to RN/LPN or ED as needed.
