Job summary

Mercy Health in Lorain, OH seeks a part-time Behavioral Health Specialist to provide direct patient care in a hospital setting. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor patient status, and coordinate with the care team while ensuring safety and compassionate communication. Afternoon shifts include weekends and holidays rotation.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of mental health or health care experience preferred.
• STNA/CNA/HS-BCP/etc. preferred; BLS preferred on hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision.
• Report changes to nurse and document care accurately.
• Assist with mobility and personal care, and monitor patient condition.
