Job summary

Trinity Health Livonia Campus is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support RN-led patient care in Behavioral Medicine. Full-time and part-time roles are available across day and night shifts, with every-other weekend and holidays.

Under the direction of an RN, you will assist with ADLs and maintain a safe, clean patient environment. The position requires a high school diploma; prior patient care experience or completion of CNA/EMT programs is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing care as delegated by the RN in order to identify/attain treatment goals.
• Assist patients in completing ADLs.
• Demonstrates sterile or aseptic technique as appropriate when performing delegated activities.
• Establishes and maintains a patient care environment that is clean, safe, and conducive to patient/family well being.
• Records patient information and required data in appropriate areas to meet documentation and charging requirements.
• Completes delegated unit-specific activities.
