Mercy Health in Lorain is seeking a Patient Care Associate (PCA) for the Adult Behavioral Health Unit. You will deliver direct patient care under RN supervision, assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and document care accurately in the electronic health record.

The role requires completion of an approved nursing aide program (or STNA/CNA) with recent clinical experience; BLS is preferred.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of nursing aide training program or STNA/CNA as applicable.

Responsabilités

• Provides direct patient care under the guidance of the Registered Nurse or designated health care professional.
• Reports changes or concerns to nurse promptly.
• Maintains accurate, timely documentation of patient care.
• Assists with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Performs delegated tasks after competency validation.
• Communicates with patients and families professionally.
• Ensures patient safety and comfort at all times.
