This full-time role coordinates pre-admission assessments, maintains accurate records, verifies insurance, and liaises with hospitals and referral partners to support timely admissions.

Qualifications

• Previous admissions, healthcare, or skilled nursing experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, and insurance verification processes.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR); PointClickCare (PCC) experience is a plus.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Responsibilities

• Welcome prospective residents, families, hospitals, and referral partners with professionalism and compassion.
• Coordinate and schedule admissions, including pre-admission assessments and required documentation.
• Maintain accurate resident records in compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations.
• Assist with insurance verification, prior authorizations, and financial eligibility processes.
• Conduct facility tours for prospective residents and families.
• Collaborate with nursing, social services, therapy, and administrative departments to ensure seamless admissions.
• Prepare admission packets and required documentation.
• Communicate with hospitals, physicians, case managers, and referral sources to coordinate timely admissions.
• Support marketing, census development, and community outreach initiatives as needed.
