Job summary

Virtua Health in Marlton, NJ seeks a Patient Care Technician to assist with daily living activities and support care plans under RN/LPN supervision. You will perform vital signs, phlebotomy and EKGs if certified, and ensure safe patient practices on a 3rd shift schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completed a PCT course or CNA program, or RN fundamentals course.
• BLS certification, phlebotomy training and EKGs may be required for some shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and support plan of care.
• Take vital signs and perform basic patient care tasks as directed.
• Communicate changes in patient status to RN/LPN promptly.
• Reinforce patient and family education on care needs and safety.
• Support patient satisfaction initiatives and unit orientation.
