Job summary

Warren CAT operates a Cat Compact store and seeks a Compact Equipment Specialist to greet customers, demonstrate equipment, and guide buyers through sales, rentals and financing options. You will be the store’s face, handling walk-ins, inquiries, and local leads with a focus on delivering a best-in-class retail experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years in equipment sales, retail, rentals, or related industry.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers entering the store and engage on the equipment lot.
• Serve as primary sales resource for walk-in traffic, leads, rentals, and referrals.
• Present equipment options, demonstrations, and feature comparisons.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and presentations for compact equipment and attachments.
• Track follow-ups and convert inquiries into sales opportunities.
• Promote Caterpillar technology platforms and ownership experiences.
