Job summary

Bobcat - Gateway Dealer Network is seeking an outside sales professional to cover construction equipment in the assigned territory. You will demonstrate equipment, prospect new customers, and follow up on leads in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 5+ years in equipment sales or related fields, a BA/BS in marketing or business, and the ability to work autonomously with strong communication and negotiation skills. Travel and overnight stays are expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven 3–5 years sales experience in the equipment industry, or 5+ years in a related field.
• BA/BS degree with a concentration in marketing, sales, or business; other disciplines encouraged.
• Able to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment and multi-task.
• Excellent communication and negotiating skills; willingness to travel and stay overnight as needed.
• Works effectively with Parts, Service, Sales, and Rental teams.

Responsibilities

• Daily territory management and revenue growth through on-site visits to customers, plus calling potential customers.
• Plan and organize business strategies to achieve results and exceed quota by renting and selling equipment.
• Promote the sale and rental equipment lines.
• Promote the value and capabilities of Parts and Service operations.
• Complete sales orders, rental contracts, and all paperwork to finalize transactions.
• Document daily calls to customers and develop weekly, monthly, and annual goals for contacts.
