Job summary

Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services is seeking a Workforce Coordinator to support customers through SNAP E&T in collaboration with the Nebraska Department of Labor. The role involves community outreach, database updates, and preparing correspondence to assist clients effectively. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Post-high school coursework or training in social/behavioral sciences, counseling, business, public admin, education, marketing, or related field.
• Experience with SNAP programs within the last 3 years preferred.
• Valid driver's license or able to provide independent transportation.

Responsibilities

• Work with SNAP E&T program in partnership with Nebraska DOL.
• Face-to-face and telephone interactions gathering financial and demographic information.
• Assist customers with obtaining self-sufficiency.
• Conduct community outreach and interacting with customers.
• Use databases to update, document, and verify customer information and prepare correspondence.
