Job summary

City of Casper is seeking a Volunteer Services Coordinator to build and lead a citywide volunteer program. You will connect residents with meaningful opportunities, design structured volunteer roles, and collaborate with City departments and community partners to maximize impact.

You will develop standardized recruitment, onboarding, and training practices, manage volunteer records, and produce reports for leadership.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of experience coordinating volunteer programs or similar community engagement work.
• Experience building partnerships with community organizations and schools.
• Ability to recruit, screen, onboard, train, and recognize volunteers with consistent practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and administer a citywide volunteer services program aligned with City priorities.
• Recruit, screen, onboard, orient, place, train, supervise, and recognize volunteers across departments.
• Maintain volunteer tracking systems, report hours, participation, and program outcomes; prepare leadership reports.
