Job summary

SAFE Alliance seeks a Volunteer Coordinator for the Community Engagement Services program in the Human Resources & Volunteer Services department. The Volunteer Coordinator supports volunteer recruitment, orientation, training, recognition, and engagement activities while providing exceptional customer service to volunteers, staff, and community partners.

The role collaborates with the Volunteer Services Director and agency departments to maintain volunteer management systems, support community

Qualifications

• Associate degree in HR/Business/Nonprofit/Related field.
• Minimum of two years in volunteer management or related nonprofit coordination.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Experience maintaining volunteer and intern records.
• Experience coordinating training, events, and community partnerships.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data management systems.
• Valid Texas driver's license and driving history requirements.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Supports volunteer recruitment, orientation, training, recognition, and engagement activities.
• Maintains volunteer management systems and records.
• Supports community partnerships and special events.
• Collaborates with Volunteer Services Director and other departments.
• Some travel between campuses; includes hybrid/remote work where applicable.
