Job summary

OATS Transit in Marshfield, MO is seeking drivers to serve seniors, individuals with disabilities, and the rural general public. You will operate mini-vans, Ford Transits or a wide body bus, assist riders, and maintain vehicle cleanliness.

This is a non-exempt, hourly position with day shifts. A Class E or CDL license, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass a U.S. DOT physical and drug tests are required. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 23 years.
• Class E or CDL license required with no more than 4 points.
• Must pass U.S. DOT physical and road test.
• Must pass drug screening and undergo random drug/alcohol testing.
• Must be bondable.
• Proficient with in-vehicle tablet/computer.
• Able to adjust to different schedules and routes.
• Must lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist riders on and off the bus with dignity and respect.
• Safely secure wheelchairs and mobility devices.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and good condition; report issues promptly.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and complete required paperwork.
• Use in-vehicle tablet for trip information and updates.
