Job summary

OATS Transit is a non-profit transportation provider serving Missouri. We are hiring drivers for mini-vans, Ford Transits, and wide-body buses across the state. This non-exempt, hourly role requires assisting riders, securing wheelchairs, and performing vehicle inspections.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 23 years old.
• CDL or Class E license required with no more than 4 points.
• Able to pass U.S. DOT physical and road test.
• Must pass drug screening and random testing.
• Bondable and dependable with good driving record.
• Experience using a tablet in-vehicle is a plus.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Drive assigned vehicle (mini-vans, Ford Transits, or wide body bus) safely.
• Assist riders on and off the vehicle with respect and courtesy.
• Secure wheelchairs and mobility devices per procedures.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections; report issues.
• Complete required paperwork and submit timely to regional office.
• Attend paid training and comply with all rules and regulations.
