Job summary

OATS Transit in Missouri is hiring drivers to operate mini-vans, Ford Transits, and wide-body buses. The role requires a Class E or CDL license, clean driving record, and the ability to pass a DOT physical and drug tests. You will assist riders, secure mobility devices, and maintain vehicle cleanliness.

The job is non-exempt and hourly with variable hours. Benefits are available after the probationary period, and training is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 23 years old.
• CDL (Class E or CDL) with no more than 4 points.
• Must pass U.S. DOT physical and road test.
• Must take and pass drug screening and random testing.
• Bondable status required.
• Computer tablet experience is a plus.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist riders on and off the bus with respect and courtesy.
• Safely secure wheelchairs and mobility devices.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and report issues.
• Use in-vehicle tablet for trip info, updates, and pickup/drop-off times.
• Complete required paperwork promptly for regional office.
• Attend routine paid training and follow all regulations.
