Job summary

OATS Transit is hiring drivers in Missouri to operate mini-vans, Ford Transits, or a wide-body bus. Positions are full-time/part-time, non-exempt, hourly, with day shifts. Applicants must meet age, license, and medical requirements and be able to pass DOT and drug screenings.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 23 years old.
• CDL license or Class E with <=4 points required.
• Pass US DOT physical and road test.
• Must pass drug screening and random testing.
• Bondable status required.
• Experience with vehicle-mounted tablet is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist riders on and off the bus safely and respectfully.
• Secure wheelchairs and mobility devices per procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and good condition of assigned vehicle and equipment.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and report issues.
• Use in-vehicle tablet for trip info, updates and timing.
• Complete required paperwork and submit to regional office timely.
• Attend routine paid training.
• Comply with all rules and regulations.
