Job summary

Pima County’s Community & Workforce Development Department seeks a skilled Case Manager to provide direct support to individuals and families facing financial hardship, housing instability, and eviction risk. This role emphasizes rental assistance, utility support, and eviction prevention through community resources.

The ideal candidate will assist clients across phone, email, online, and in-person channels, assess needs, and guide them toward appropriate programs.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in management/public/business administration or related field and one year professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Participates in day-to-day operational and support activities of a specialized program within the Community & Workforce Development Department.
• Provides direct services urgently and compassionately to clients via phone, email, online, or in person, coordinating with agencies to maximize resources.
• Assesses needs and guides clients toward resources and programs based on individual circumstances.
• Manages and maintains accurate records of program participants and their progress; ensures program compliance.
• Collaborates with internal staff and external partners to prevent homelessness and strengthen families.

Education

Associate degree in management, public or business administration or related field

One year of professional experience in health, customer service, human services, or closely related field
