Job summary

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, familiarity with Community Action Agency programs and funding streams, and the ability to work with diverse populations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public or business administration or a closely related field with at least one year of health/human services experience.
• Relevant education/experience substitutions may apply.
• Two years of experience supervising staff responsible for eligibility determinations preferred.
• Experience with grant writing, grant management, and issuing RFPs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and participate in activities of a specialized Community & Workforce Development program.
• Lead and supervise staff to provide urgent, compassionate services to individuals in need.
• Develop program goals and ensure they are met within budget and schedule.
• Prepare grant applications and review related solicitations.
