East Missouri Action Agency currently has an opening for a Community Services Representative with a Skill Up focus. This position is responsible for all activities associated with the operation of the Community Services offices in the assigned county. These activities include, but are not limited to, the timely processing of client intake, associated referrals, applications, special projects and reporting thereof. This position will also serve as the primary agency contact for community networking and resource coordination in regards to the Skill Up Program. The incumbent of this position would work primarily with Skill Up TANF and FNS clients.
A High School Diploma or GED, and four years experience working with low-income programs, case management, or related field, or 2 year college degree and 2 years of related experience is required. A valid MO Driver's License and proof of insurance is required. Candidates must have good communication skills, excellent computer skills, be self-motivated, work well under pressure, and be able to handle multiple task simultaneously.
The schedule for this position is Monday - Thursday 7:30am to 5:00pm (36 hours/week).
Starting pay is $17.75 per hour with an excellent benefit package that includes the following:
