Job summary

The Salvation Army in the United States seeks a Social Services Program Manager for the East LA Temple Corps to oversee all social services programs and community-based activities, shaping program development and partnerships.

This leadership role supervises staff and volunteers, manages budgets and reports, and coordinates with Corps Officers to meet community needs while ensuring HIPAA compliance and adherence to organizational standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in social services, business administration, or a related field preferred.
• 5 years' professional work experience at the equivalent level.
• Experience working with the public, outside donors and clients.
• Receive and/or maintain an up-to-date Food Handler Certificate
• Familiarity with WellSky & HSMI system is preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee social services programs, staffing, and volunteers.
• Develop and monitor budgets for all social service programs, projects, and events.
• Coordinate partnerships with community organizations and referrals.
• Maintain records, MOUs/MOAs, and required reporting.
• Maintain database records in WellSky and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Produce timely government and private donor reports
