The Salvation Army in Los Angeles is seeking a Social Services Program Manager for the East LA Temple Corps. You will provide direct oversight of all social services programs and community-based initiatives, coordinating with Corps Officers and partner agencies.

This role manages staff, budgets, reporting, and data records in WellSky, ensuring compliance with policies, funder requirements, and HIPAA. You will develop programs, supervise volunteers, and drive community outreach and services.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in social services, business administration, or related field preferred; equivalent work experience.
• 5 years' professional work experience at the equivalent level.
• Experience working with the public, outside donors and clients.
• Receive and/or maintain an up-to-date Food Handler Certificate.
• Experience with computer applications and databases; WellSky & HSMI familiarity preferred.

Aufgaben

• Administer staff and volunteers including scheduling, time-clock management, training, onboarding, evaluation and corrective measures.
• Coordinate with Corps Officers to establish annual events (Back to School, Thanksgiving Meals, Christmas Assistance).
• Create, implement and monitor budgets for all social service programs, projects and events.
• Promote internal services with other agencies and communities; connect partner programs for referrals.
• Oversee Food Pantry program; secure and schedule donations with retailers.
• Oversee client-based programs, appointments and case management services.
• Ensure MOUs/MOAs remain current and compliant; monitor obligations and reports.
• Maintain WellSky database records; comply with Salvation Army and HIPAA standards.
• Submit government/private reports timely; track spending of donations.
• Attend internal/external meetings and trainings; participate in advisory board activities.
• Drive and pick up donations as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by the Corp Officers.
