The Salvation Army Southern California is seeking a Social Services Director for the Glendale/Burbank Corps and Community Center. You will lead Social Services and Food Services, supervise staff, develop programs, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and reporting standards.

Responsibilities include overseeing data collection in HMIS, coordinating with partners, and guiding grant-related activities. A strong background in social services leadership and multi-program management is essential.

Formación

• B.A. degree in social work or related field (MSW preferred).
• Five years’ experience in social services, including at least one year in a supervisory position.
• Experience working with clients, staff, and diverse backgrounds.
• Valid California driver’s license and background check required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide guidance and supervision to the Food Pantry services staff.
• Maintain accurate client records and statistics per HIPAA and state/federal laws.
• Coordinate with community partners to grow social services programs in Glendale/Burbank area.
• Develop and monitor staff training opportunities.
• Ensure data is captured and reported in HMIS WellSky and related systems.
• Assist with grant writing proposals and reports as needed.
• Respond to client inquiries and provide crisis intervention when required.
• Maintain policies on participant complaints and grievances.
