Community Service & Civic Engagement (CSCE) is a part ofEducation Innovation in the Office of the Chancellor and plays anintegral role in meaningfully engaging students and staff withcommunities in Boston and beyond. For students, communityengagement offers critical experiential learning opportunities thatallow them to understand and have impact in the world. This teamoversees a robust suite of community engagement programs and offerstrainings, reflections, and consultations. With an asset-based lensto community engagement and a commitment to strong reciprocalcommunity partnerships, CSCE facilitates meaningful experiences forstudents, staff, and community partners.
The Operations Manager leads the operational infrastructure thatenables CSCE to advance its mission at scale. This positiondevelops and implements the operational, logistical, andadministrative systems that drive program delivery across the fullteam. The Operations Manager directs logistics for CSCE programsand events, establishes and optimizes office systems, stewardsprogram budgets, and serves as the strategic operational resourcefor the team. This role reports to the Director of CSCE andpartners collaboratively with all CSCE staff to build awell-functioning, efficient, and mission-aligned office.
