Rogue Valley Manor is seeking a Security Guard to maintain a safe and secure community through observations, reporting, and emergency response. The role involves patrolling campus areas, monitoring alarms, and aiding residents, guests, vendors, and staff with professional service.

Requirements include at least one year in security or related fields, alarm system knowledge, CPR/AED and First Aid certification within 90 days, and basic computer skills (MS Office) with security software.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in security, public safety, or a related field.
• Knowledge of alarm systems, communication equipment, and emergency response procedures.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certification upon hire or within 90 days of hire.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and security-related software applications.
• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Conduct security patrols throughout the campus, including buildings, common areas, and parking lots to help maintain a safe environment.
• Monitor surveillance systems, fire alarms, emergency call systems, and respond appropriately to security-related incidents.
• Welcome and direct residents, guests, vendors, contractors, and visitors while providing outstanding customer service.
• Assist with emergency situations, provide escorts when needed, and support staff, residents, and first responders.
• Complete incident reports, maintain accurate logs, and communicate important information to team members and leadership.
