Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities seeks a Security Guard to protect residents, staff, and visitors across campus. You will patrol facilities, monitor CCTV, and manage access to ensure a safe and secure environment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and current CPR/AED/First Aid certifications, with security or emergency services experience preferred. Competitive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications (or obtain within three months).
• Preferred: prior experience in security, law enforcement, emergency services, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of residents, team members, visitors and property through proactive patrols, monitoring security cameras, access control and other life-safety systems.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies, fire alarms and security incidents while maintaining a visible presence to deter misconduct and promote a safe environment.
