Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities is seeking a Security Guard to safeguard residents, staff, visitors and property through proactive patrols, camera monitoring, access control and life-safety systems.

You will respond to emergencies, maintain a visible deterrent, and contribute to a safe environment. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and CPR, AED and First Aid certifications (or obtain within three months).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, emergency services, or related field preferred.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Must possess and maintain CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications (or obtain within three months of employment).

Responsibilities

• Protect residents, team members, visitors and property through proactive patrols and monitoring.
• Operate and monitor security cameras, access control, and life-safety systems.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies, fire alarms and security incidents.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter misconduct and promote a safe environment.

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent

CPR, AED, and First Aid Certifications
