Job summary

Comstock Holding Companies, Inc. in Reston, VA seeks a Security Officer for ParkX Management to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents, tenants, and guests. You will patrol, manage access, enforce rules, and report safety concerns to management.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma and a DCJS certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days), plus at least 1 year in a customer-service role and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in a customer-service related field.
• DCJS certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
• Valid driver’s license with no major violations.
• Flexibility to work after hours and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Complete hourly patrol route of the property using the security system.
• Control access for guests, tenants and vendors.
• Ensure no property is being damaged and enforce plaza policies.
• Perform routine foot patrols and respond to safety concerns.
• Communicate with management and assist during special events.
• Maintain safety records and report issues promptly.
