Job summary

United Way of Massachusetts Bay seeks an experienced Program Manager to coordinate the day-to-day activities of our Community Schools Strategy, supporting families, students, and partners across a multi-project landscape.

The role emphasizes project management, facilitation, data collection, and equity-focused program development with heavy collaboration across schools and community partners. Hybrid schedule requires at least two in-office days in Boston, with flexible hours for events.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a public school, educational, or youth-supporting setting.
• Experience facilitating groups (virtual and in-person).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Ability to analyze problems and strategize solutions.
• Experience with program evaluation and data collection systems.
• Commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion in strategy development.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Community Schools strategy.
• Coordinate timelines and team tasks; align internal UW goals.
• Support coordination of systems- and community-level change.
• Lead projects within the Community Schools strategy.
• Develop and implement project-management systems for the strategy.
• Manage communications and documentation for the program and partners.
• Coordinate grant requests, reports, and continuation funding.
