Job summary

United Way of Massachusetts Bay seeks a Program Director to support and expand a Community Schools strategy in our region, with a focus on Boston. You will work under the Senior Director of Community Schools and Education Strategies, coordinating a team to advance equity-driven initiatives.

The role involves leading partnerships with Boston Public Schools, City of Boston, YMCA of Greater Boston, City Year Boston, and UMass Boston, and guiding continuous improvement across 20 schools.

• Experience delivering community initiatives in education.

• Knowledge of educational equity policies and practices.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation and expansion of Community Schools strategy.
• Facilitate intermediary role in Boston Community Hub Schools effort with partners.
• Coordinate cross-sector collaboration among districts, unions, city agencies, and universities.
• Lead continuous improvement and reporting on initiatives.
• Build and manage multiple partnerships across 20 schools in Boston.
