Responsibilities

• Interviews clients and conducts a thorough assessment of needs.
• Identifies appropriate resources.
• Assists with referrals and links to other agencies.
• Advocates for the inquirer when necessary to contact and utilize resources.
• Conducts follow-up to ensure needs are met.
• Uses crisis management techniques per agency procedures.
• Maintains complete and accurate documentation.
• Stays current with required ongoing training for both services.
• Supports community outreach activities as assigned by management.
• Active involvement with agency programs and events.
• Supports operations during times of disaster as defined by policy.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of agency processes and policies.
