Job summary

OhioGuidestone is seeking a Dispatch Coordinator to support crisis response operations across Ohio. You will receive incoming crisis referrals, dispatch mobile teams of licensed therapists and behavioral health specialists, and coordinate quickly and safely using dispatch software and secure messaging.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in dispatch, call center, crisis hotline, or emergency coordination preferred.
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Proficient with technology, including dispatch systems, EHRs, and MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming crisis referrals and dispatch mobile response teams.
• Coordinate field operations using dispatch software and secure communications.
• Maintain clear, accurate documentation of dispatch activity in electronic records.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Adhere to privacy laws and HIPAA regulations while handling sensitive information.
• Provide coverage during evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and provide feedback on system performance.
