Job summary

Kanza Mental Health & Guidance Center in Hiawatha, KS seeks a part-time Community Relations Coordinator to strengthen community ties, expand visibility, and coordinate fundraising and communications across the service area.

You will work with the CEO and Foundation Board to cultivate partnerships, plan events, manage donor communications, and support marketing efforts while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with policy.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent written and verbal communication required.
• Ability to build positive relationships and represent the organization professionally.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and deadlines.
• Willingness to travel across service area and occasional evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate fundraising events, campaigns, sponsorships, and donor communications.
• Develop community partnerships and represent Kanza at events and meetings.
• Support marketing and communications with content for social media, newsletters, and print materials.
• Track engagement, opportunities, and outcomes, and maintain calendars and plans.
