Qualifications

• Commitment to Catholic Charities mission and Catholic Social Teaching.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with diverse groups.
• Experience in community outreach, nonprofit or volunteer engagement preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, nonprofit management, education, or related field preferred.
• Strong organizational and project coordination abilities with multiple priorities.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with staff and partners.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; databases and scheduling platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with businesses, civic orgs, and partners across 21 counties.
• Identify opportunities for volunteerism, internships, education, donations and engagement.
• Represent Catholic Charities at events; lead Chamber Captain program.
• Develop partnerships and outreach in rural Family Support Center communities.
• Coordinate Serve Days and other group service opportunities.
• Plan and execute outreach events and presentations; manage logistics.
• Recruit, place, and support college interns; coordinate onboarding processes.
• Collaborate with Outreach, Volunteer Engagement, Development, and program staff.
• Maintain calendars, contacts, and engagement records in systems; track activities.
• Communicate with partners, invitations, reminders, and follow-up.
• Coordinate materials, equipment, and logistics for outreach activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
