Job summary

Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas is seeking a Community Outreach & Partnerships Coordinator to promote the agency’s mission across 21 counties. You will build relationships with businesses, civic groups, and community partners, coordinating volunteerism, internships, education, donations and other engagement opportunities.

Work with staff to identify needs, plan outreach events, manage communications, and track activity using shared systems.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate a commitment to the mission and Catholic Social Teaching.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills with diverse groups.
• Experience in community outreach, nonprofit, volunteer engagement, or related field preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Must complete VIRTUS training, background screening, drug testing, and other required training.
• Must possess a valid Kansas or Missouri driver’s license and dependable transportation.
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with businesses, civic organizations, and community partners across the Archdiocese.
• Identify and cultivate opportunities for volunteerism, internships, donations, education, and engagement.
• Represent Catholic Charities at networking events; lead the Chamber Captain program.
• Coordinate Serve Days and outreach events; manage logistics and follow-up.
• Recruit, place, and support students in internships; coordinate interviews and onboarding.
• Collaborate with departments to coordinate community engagement and track activity.
• Maintain calendars and records using LGL, SharePoint, SignUp Genius, and other systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
