Kanza Mental Health & Guidance Center, Inc. seeks a Registered Nurse - Medical Services to provide safe, timely nursing care across our Holton and Hiawatha locations and community settings.

You will perform nursing assessments, administer medications (including injectable treatments as prescribed), educate clients and families, coordinate with prescribers and the interdisciplinary team, and document care in the electronic health record with HIPAA compliance.

Competenze

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license valid for practice in Kansas.
• Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain within required timeframe.
• Ability to perform nursing duties within scope-of-practice requirements.

Mansioni

• Conduct nursing assessments and develop care plans with clients and interdisciplinary team.
• Administer medications including injectable treatments per provider orders and agency procedures.
• Document medication administration, assessments, and follow-up in the EHR with accuracy.
• Coordinate with pharmacies, prescribers, and insurers to ensure access to medications.
• Provide client education on medications, symptom management, and self-care.
• Support clinic operations including scheduling, reminders, and telehealth coordination.
• Collaborate with hospitals, primary care providers, and community partners to promote coordinated care.
• Travel between Kanza locations and community settings as needed.
