Job summary

Kanza Mental Health and Guidance Center, Inc. seeks a part-time Community Relations Coordinator to strengthen community relationships, expand visibility, and coordinate fundraising.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel throughout Kanza’s service area.
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects, events, and deadlines.
• Proficiency with common office software and digital communication tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Foundation fundraising events, campaigns, sponsorships, and related activities with CEO and Foundation Board.
• Build and maintain relationships with donors, businesses, civic organizations, and community partners.
• Coordinate donor communications, acknowledgments, stewardship activities, and donor recognition.
• Identify fundraising opportunities and communicate them to leadership.
• Coordinate event logistics, volunteers, and follow-up activities.
• Develop outreach materials and coordinate marketing and communications activities.
