Cantex Continuing Care Networks in Frisco, TX seeks a Community Relations Coordinator to drive census through referrals, tours, and admissions. You will ensure information is documented and communicated to staff, and timely conversions from inquiries to admissions are achieved.

Responsibilities include coordinating admissions paperwork, conducting professional tours with clinical and financial staff, and meeting census and occupancy goals. Exceptional communication and organization are essential.

Qualifications

• Preferably one-year experience in a long-term care setting with demonstrated evidence of census development.
• Excellent verbal and written skills required; public speaking skills may be necessary.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Obtain family commitment to tour Community on viable referrals.
• Conduct professional tours with clinical and financial personnel to gain admission.
• Explain admission policies and procedures during the admission process to residents and families.
• Coordinate admission approvals for referrals and ensure paperwork is complete upon admission.
• Meet census targets by managing referrals, admissions, and follow-up.
• Attend daily department meetings to update on referrals and admissions and resolve issues.
• Lead a ninety-day marketing plan to achieve occupancy and quality mix goals.
• Identify barriers to admissions and communicate with the Executive Director and Director of Business Development.
• Conduct sales calls to targeted referral sources including physicians, hospitals, social workers, and community organizations.
• Document inquiries and follow-ups accurately in the inquiry log.
• Participate in committees as requested by the Executive Director.

The Community Relations Coordinator has responsibility for ensuring that all information is obtained, documented, and communicated to the appropriate staff within the Community.
