Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in recreation, parks and recreation management, event management, business admin or related field.
• Minimum two years of progressively responsible experience in recreation programming or event management; supervisory experience preferred.
• Current First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications required within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, coordinate, promote, and evaluate recreation programs and services for diverse populations.
• Assess community needs and program performance to identify opportunities and improvements.
• Plan, coordinate, and evaluate community events, concerts, and festivals.
• Recruit, develop, and maintain relationships with contractors, instructors, and community partners.
• Manage program budgets, revenues, and cost-recovery objectives; oversee staff, volunteers, and instructors.
