Job summary

NorthStar Memorial Group in Saint Petersburg, FL is seeking a Community Development Advisor who will generate pre-need sales across the assigned market, including cemetery property, merchandise, services and prearranged funeral/cremation plans.

You will actively build relationships in the community, set appointments, and present preplanning guides and products. Travel to locations for tours, handle paperwork, track activity, and use CRM for follow-up.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
• Reliable transportation.
• Knowledge of current federal, state and local regulations related to the cemetery and funeral industry.

Responsibilities

• Actively builds community relationships to educate families on preplanning decisions.
• Sets appointments and delivers preplanning guides and product presentations.
• Provides professional tours of each location within their area.
• Completes paperwork accurately for contract processing.
• Tracks sales activity and performance metrics.
• Uses CRM to track contacts and follow up.
• Contacts new and existing customers to discuss needs.
• Prospects daily via calls, door knocking, mailers, and seminars.
