Job summary

Sacred Heart Community Service (SHCS) in San José, CA, seeks a Community Partnerships Manager to build and grow external relationships, lead the Volunteer Office, and drive fundraising and community engagement. This full-time on-site role collaborates with Fund Development and the program staff to coordinate volunteer experiences and partner recognition.

The CPM will manage youth and young professional committees, oversee volunteer recruitment, and ensure accurate reporting of partner activities

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in community partnership development or related field.
• Experience managing a volunteer program or engagement operation.
• Experience cultivating and managing relationships with external organizations.
• Demonstrated ability to organize, plan, and execute events and outreach activities.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and office software.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate, solicit, and steward partnerships to achieve revenue and engagement goals.
• Coordinate with Fund Development for gift processing and stewardship to present a unified relationship.
• Lead youth and young professional committees and oversee Volunteer Office operations.
• Track partner engagement and report progress toward goals.
• Develop volunteer experiences and coordinate with staff for partner events and campaigns.
• Supervise volunteers and staff, ensuring high-quality experiences for partners and volunteers.
