Job summary

Catholic Charities of Northwest California in Santa Rosa, CA is seeking a Community Engagement Manager to lead community relationships, volunteer engagement, parish partnerships, employee engagement, outreach, and agency-wide events.

You will oversee staff and volunteers, collaborate with departments, and align engagement activities with organizational priorities to expand impact across the service area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred in a related field.
• Proven ability to build relationships with community organizations, parishes, businesses, and public agencies.
• Experience coordinating events, outreach, and volunteer programs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and sustain partnerships to increase community awareness, referrals, volunteers, and support for CCNWC programs.
• Lead volunteer recruitment, onboarding, placement, recognition, retention, and tracking.
• Develop volunteer and in-kind donation opportunities to support agency operations and events.
• Lead employee engagement initiatives to strengthen mission integration, culture, belonging, and retention.
• Plan and coordinate community events, outreach activities, service projects, open houses, and awareness campaigns.
