Job summary

CommonSpirit Health's Sequoia Hospital in Redwood City, CA is seeking a Volunteer Coordinator to develop, implement, and evaluate volunteer goals, recruit, screen, interview, onboard, and recognize volunteers. Qualifications

• High school graduate or BA preferred with 1–3 years in volunteer management.
• Experience speaking before groups and strong writing/verbal communication skills.
• Typing speed of at least 45 wpm and solid interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and evaluate goals and objectives for Volunteer Services, aligning with the organization’s mission.
• Oversee full recruitment cycle: application review, interviews, onboarding, and placement.
• Supervise daily operations of Volunteer Services, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate volunteer schedules and recognition.
