Job summary

Campus Federal in Baton Rouge is seeking a dynamic Business Development Officer to grow membership, foster community partnerships, and expand financial education initiatives across our field of membership.

The role emphasizes relationship-building with LSU campuses, FMOL Health System, SEGs, and community partners, plus delivering engaging financial education programs and representing Campus Federal at events and sponsored activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• 5+ years in business development, sales, public relations, or community relations.
• Proven ability to build relationships and grow partnerships.
• Exceptional presentation and public speaking skills.
• Strong networking and relationship-management abilities.
• Experience planning events, outreach initiatives, and community engagement programs.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet goals.
• Knowledge of financial services and community engagement is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement business development strategies to grow membership and financial education.
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across LSU, FMOL Health System, SEGs, and community groups.
• Represent Campus Federal at events, orientations, fairs, and sponsorship activities.
• Identify opportunities to raise awareness of Campus Federal products and services.
• Promote membership and services through networking and outreach.
• Maintain a network of organizational contacts and ambassadors.
• Coordinate annual meetings, ambassador programs, and community events.
• Manage sponsor and partner relationships with CRM records.
• Deliver financial education presentations and workshops for employees, students, and groups.
• Collaborate with Marketing to support campaigns and brand awareness.
• Assist in budgeting, sponsorships, donations, and community investments.
• Coordinate volunteer participation and community service efforts.
• Monitor and report on business development and growth opportunities.
• Support strategic initiatives and special projects.
