Job summary

The Arc Northern Chesapeake Region is seeking a Community Partners Supervisor to develop and manage a team delivering community-based activities tailored to participants’ beliefs, interests, and support needs. You will build collaborations with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely communication and effective resource use.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Human Services is preferred.
• DSP I or must be able to complete within the first 90 days.
• Two (2) years of supervisory experience.
• Three (3) years of experience in the human services field.
• Fluent in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with agency leadership to provide coaching, performance improvement plans, and support to team members with equity, care, and compassion.
• Participate in hiring and onboarding process including submission of Peer Training schedule to HR.
• Ensure team members understand their role, policies and procedures; equip them with tools to optimize resources and develop community resources.
• Assign and manage routes and daily activities; step in to ensure adequate supports are maintained.
• Facilitate department functions including monthly meetings, trainings, and incident reports; maintain records.
• Engage in a minimum of 1 site visit per week and attend monthly leadership meetings.
• Review GPS Alerts from Transportation and schedule team members for corrective action.
• Maintain confidential records and complete required documents promptly.
• Review and approve weekly timesheets and mileage forms.
• Attend PCP meetings and ensure staff training on new PCPs within 20 days of PCP.
• Undertake other duties including special projects and cross-program development.
