Job summary

The Arc Northern Chesapeake Region is seeking a Community Living House Supervisor to oversee a house within the Community Living department. You will supervise staff, provide direct support to staff and residents, and coordinate services for residents in your house.

Key duties include hiring participation, staff training oversight, ensuring IPS/BSPs are reviewed, and maintaining timely documentation and communication with HR and program management.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years in human services; residential or personal support preferred.
• At least 2 years supervisory or peer training experience in a residential environment.
• High School Diploma required; AA/BA preferred.
• AA may substitute for 2 years of experience; BA/BS may substitute for 4 years.

Responsibilities

• Participate in hiring processes including interviews and orientations.
• Oversee staff training; ensure annual training and med errors are addressed.
• Train new staff on IPs and BSPs within 2 weeks; document signatures.
• Schedule and complete new employee peer training checklist.
