Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and two years of community work experience preferred or an equivalent combination.
• Associate’s degree and four years of community work experience preferred or an equivalent combination.
• High school diploma and six years of community work experience required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Increase parent involvement by collaborating with school and community organizations.
• Facilitate parent and community concerns and address school policies or facilities issues.
• Engage parents in their children’s education and convene regular parent meetings/events.
• Support by-laws, elections, and activities with parent associations as needed.
• Serve as liaison between school and central/field-based parent support staff.
• Maintain contact with community organizations providing services to the school.
