Job summary

WestCare Foundation in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Part-Time Food Pantry Coordinator to oversee food drive and community meal program activities for the assigned area.

You will manage pantry operations, coordinate food pickup and delivery, ensure health and safety standards, and maintain proper storage. The role requires a High School Diploma, a valid driver's license, and strong communication skills; Serve Safe certification is preferred. Travel up to 50% and day shifts are involved.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Serve Safe Certification strongly preferred; certification will be given preference to candidates.
• Valid driver's license and the ability to obtain WestCare Foundation vehicle insurance is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees food pantry operations including pick-up and delivery of food to the agency.
• Prepares requisitions for food and commodities; receives and stores deliveries.
• Assists with gathering food from different locations for the pantry site.
• Maintains health standards, cleanliness, and sanitation, including wearing hairnets/caps.
• Ensures equipment operates properly and temperatures meet standards.
• Remains aware of fire and safety hazards and reports maintenance needs.
• Embraces WestCare Foundation's mission and goals.
• Performs any other duties as assigned.
