Job summary

J Street Property Services is seeking an Assistant Community Director for Auberge of Tyler to lead daily operations, focus on collections and renewals, and support the Community Director. You will help protect revenue, improve resident satisfaction, and drive community performance while preparing for future leadership roles.

Responsibilities include overseeing collections, renewals, leasing activities, and resident relations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of multifamily housing, leasing, collections, or related property-management experience.
• Strong knowledge of collections, renewals, resident relations, and onsite property operations.
• Excellent communication, organization, problem-solving, and follow-through.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with property-management platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor rent collections, delinquencies, payment plans, and account activity to support financial performance.
• Own renewal follow-up and resident conversations to support retention.
• Assist with leasing activity, tours, applications, lease documentation, and move-in support.
• Respond promptly to resident questions, concerns, and complaints and ensure follow-through.
• Maintain accurate resident, lease, collection, renewal, and operational information in the property management system.
