Job summary

The Westerly, operated by J Street Property Services in Midlothian, TX, seeks an Assistant Community Director to partner with the Community Director. This role focuses on protecting revenue, driving collections and renewals, and delivering a high-quality resident experience.

You will lead leasing support when needed, coordinate move-ins/outs, and ensure accurate records in the property management system. Availability for weekends and non-traditional hours is required; pay is 23–25 USD per hour.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of multifamily housing or related property-management experience.
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and follow-through skills.
• Proficiency with property-management software such as Yardi or OneSite.

Responsibilities

• Monitor rent collections, delinquencies, payments, and account activity to support financial performance.
• Respond to resident questions and concerns, ensuring timely follow-up and satisfaction.
• Support daily property operations including move-ins/move-outs, vendor coordination, and office organization.
• Maintain accurate resident, lease, and financial records in the PM system.
