Job summary

Home Leasing is seeking a Community Leader to supervise the property’s administration and facilities, ensuring prompt, courteous service to residents and proper operation of the rental program. You will lead the maintenance team, oversee budgets, and ensure compliance with regulations and program rules.

The role requires prior property management and supervisory experience, strong communication and computer skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced office and property setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Previous property management experience preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to work well with others, good communication skills, good computer skills, ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to fulfill the company mission according to Home Leasing's practices.
• Oversee maintenance tasks including inspections, work orders, preventive maintenance, contracts and vendors.
• Inform supervisor of property deficiencies and resident concerns in writing with specifics and recommendations.
• Review and approve invoices, monitor accounts receivable and take action as needed.
• Assist with budgeting and ensure compliance with funding programs and regulatory requirements.
• Manage move-in, transfer and recertification files following regulatory restrictions.
• Monitor regulatory compliance, fair housing and accessibility considerations.
• Handle evictions, collections, lease violations and special arrangements as directed.
• Participate in hiring, assignments, evaluations, and policy communication with on-site staff.
• Work to minimize vacancies and promote resident relations and retention.
