Job summary

Vista Multifamily Management, Inc. is seeking a Community Manager in Baton Rouge to oversee apartment operations, budget adherence, and a productive on-site team. You will hire and train staff, monitor occupancy, and drive NOI while ensuring a quality living environment for residents.

The role requires supervisory responsibility, strong communication, and collaboration with the Regional Manager. Candidates should have 1+ year in property management and a relevant degree; CAM/ARM preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
• Minimum 1-year property management experience.
• Experience with property operations, budgets, and staff supervision.
• Certifications: CAM or ARM preferred; Property Management Certification a plus.
• Must have valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall operations of the apartment community and budget.
• Hire, train, and supervise on-site staff; conduct performance reviews.
• Maintain occupancy and monitor rent collections and expenses.
• Oversee leasing, move-ins, and turnover; ensure compliance with criteria.
• Coordinate with Regional Manager; prepare weekly reports.
• Ensure safety, risk management and Fair Housing compliance.
